Kym was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She earned a Bachelor of Science from McMaster in 1989. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1993 and started working as a locum for the next 5 years in Ontario, Newfoundland and BC, During this time, she learned many techniques and treated in many different offices learning from the established Chiropractor.
She moved to Victoria in 1998 and started her own practice within another Chiropractic office and then moved into a home practice in 2004 both in Fairfield and 4 years ago in James Bay.
She practices Diversified Technique as well as instrument adjusting such as Activator and Drop Table adjustments, Low Force techniques and Soft Tissue techniques. She has the experience and gentle confidence to put anyone new to Chiropractic at ease.
When she is not treating patients, she is enjoying time with her 14 year old son and cat, Charlie. She’s very grateful to walk in the forests and swim in the lakes on Vancouver Island.

Dr. Kym Harvey provides Chiropractic services to families, pregnant women, infants and children, the elderly, and athletes. Chiropractic adjustments are gentle and effective at relieving many problems including:

As well as spinal adjustments, she offers individualized stretches and exercises to help correct problems in posture and muscle imbalance that can be done right at home, work or even in the car. Lifestyle and nutritional counselling is also part of Chiropractic. Ways to decrease stress, improve sleep and promote overall health will be discussed.

How much do Treatments cost ?
For a new patient the first appointment is $ 105 and lasts 45 minutes, during which a complete health history is taken, a full physical exam is given, as well as the first chiropractic treatment.
Ongoing patient treatments are $ 65 and last 30 minutes. Premium assistance is offered by the government for Chiropractic for low net income on your T1 tax assessment.
